School Update 4.6.20

Dear Parents and Carers, I have now emailed everyone with details of our plans for wider opening from the week beginning 8th June 2020.

As you will know, we are keen to get back to some semblance of normality as soon as possible and have our wonderful school running as it should - with everyone in it. However, the current circumstances and guidance dictate that this is not possible at this time.

When it is safe for us to receive all our pupils back into school we will inform you about the plan. Until that time we are very sad that we are unable to offer a safe space for most children.

We have only been able to offer a small number of places safely following government guidance and after much thought and planning. The places have been offered to pupils following very careful consideration of a wide range of complex needs and safety factors. We have now contacted the parents of those children.

If we are able to offer your child a place as we move through the term then rest assured we most definitely will. Our ambition is to increase numbers further as soon as it is safe to do so.

We are missing you all incredibly and would wish that this all changes for the best as soon as possible. We want to be back to being our happy Castle Family, enjoying our learning and experiences together. And when it is safe to do so, we will make sure that this happens.

I appreciate that these are difficult times for us as families and understand that this time away from school has been challenging for many of us whose children are not in school. I hope that you understand that everything we are doing is being done for the right reasons with the health and safety of pupils and staff at the heart of every decision.

For now, thank you for your continued support
