Remote Learning
Remote Learning Packages 2021-2022
If, for any reason, we need to close a class or key stage then we will revert to remote learning for pupils.
Live Online Learning Sessions:
If a class or key stage has to close, all pupils remaining at home will be offered daily Zoom sessions with staff. This may be more than one session each day for some pupils. This will be different for each group and we recognise that for some pupils this is not appropriate or accessible. In these cases, we will draw upon the close working relationship with families to plan for those individual pupils. It is the intention that some of these sessions will be small group and some will be larger groups, to encourage engagement with wider peer groups.
The content of these Zoom live sessions are planned by the teachers working together in their teams and plan to be varied with a range of interactions and activities.
There will also be opportunities for larger group sessions, taking the form of remote assemblies that pupils will be offered and encouraged where appropriate to engage with as this will provide social engagement and maintain relationships with the school whilst we are not able to meet in person.
Remote Learning Resources:
All pupils will be sent learning and development activities. Like all of the planned learning and development in school, this will vary around the school and will be planned specifically for the needs and levels of the learners. This will be emailed or posted out to families. We encourage families to contact their class teachers if any further support or guidance is needed.
